2024 ORNAMENT - RIEDINGER HOUSE

2024 Ornament

Riedinger House

The 2024 Saint Mary's College Christmas Ornament depicts the front facade of Riedinger House on a snowy day.

Built in 1939, Riedinger House was donated by siblings Charles and Caroline Riedinger in honor of their grandmother, Adaline Crowley Riedinger, Class of 1864, and mother, Mary Adelaide Riedinger, Class of 1889. They were the College’s first mother and daughter legacy.

From the outside, the brick and stone three-bedroom cottage appears to be a traditional size home. However, the interior of the house was completed with a seven-eighths scale to address high building costs, common during the post-Depression era.

The LA Club proudly presents a series of collectible Christmas ornaments to honor the heritage of Saint Mary’s College. Each year the LA Club will release a new ornament depicting a special part of the Saint Mary’s College experience. The annual Ornament is a special edition and supply is limited.

THANK YOU for your support of the Ornament series! The series was originally designed to last five years (2015-2019). Encouraged by the overwhelming popularity of our ornaments, the LA Club spent 2020 working to extend the series. Each ornament is a special edition and supply is limited.

If you are interested in the opportunity to purchase one of the sold-out editions, sign up for the Club ornament mailing list. Please note, the Club does not have a timeline to reissue any past editions. You will be notified via email of any reissues with instructions to purchase.
