Brother Andre Outreach Center
The Saint Mary’s College LA Alumnae Club supports the Brother Andre Outreach Center (BAOC) of St. Agnes Parish, Los Angeles, as our service project. Sister Maryanne O'Neill CSC '63 managed the BAOC for 20 years before heading back to Saint Mary's in 2021. The Center provides food, supplies and assistance to those in the community. An Amazon Wish List (aka Amazon Gift Registry) has been updated based on recommendations from the current Center Director. It includes a variety of essential items needed by the Center’s clients. Donors may purchase items and ship directly to the Brother Andre Center. The need is ongoing and especially high during the winter months. The Center is again planning a Christmas sponsorship program to support individual families, in addition to Christmas packages of personal care items for Center clients. The Director, Maria Ahumada, will identify households from the neediest of the Center’s clients for sponsorship by Club members. Wish lists will be developed and are expected to be available in early November.

She will coordinate among LA Club sponsors to cover the wish lists. The need is great! Thanks for considering these opportunities to support the St. Agnes parishioners and the Los Angeles community so long served by the Sisters of the Holy Cross.

LA Club Scholarship Fund
In 2008, The LA Club established its scholarship fund with the purpose of providing financial aid to southern California students attending Saint Mary’s. This academic year, 100% of incoming Saint Mary’s students will receive financial assistance.
You can support the LA Club Scholarship Fund with a gift to Saint Mary’s. When making your online gift, follow these instructions: Enter Gift Amount; Select Option 2: “Please direct my gift to one of the Saint Mary’s Fund priorities or area of my choice”; Select “other” and type in: LA Club Scholarship Fund; Continue with form.
